The partnership delivers a wide range of courses for adults learning in the community. The majority of provision comprises English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) and adult basic education courses, while the college and the Council’s Lifelong Learning Service offer provision in the visual and creative arts.

Learn Welsh - Swansea Bay Region


Learn Welsh – Swansea Bay Region provides a range of different courses, from Entry to Proficiency levels, including mainstream Welsh for Adults, Welsh in the Workplace, Welsh for the Family and Work Welsh courses. It also provides a programme of informal learning opportunities for learners to practise and extend their Welsh skills outside the classroom.

Digital Literacy, Literacy and Numeracy courses at the Llwyn y Bryn campus and Gowerton and Gorseinon libraries.

 

ESOL
Beginner to Advanced classes at the Llwyn y Bryn campus.

A wide range of part time courses at the Llwyn y Bryn campus.


Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plumbing, Plastering, Painting and Decorating

These courses are delivered in English and Welsh.

Adult Learning Wales’ provision in Swansea focuses predominantly on the delivery of ‘general’ and ‘contextualised’ ESOL courses, as well as courses in Family Learning and Arts & Crafts.
